Perhaps most importantly, it is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids. Eating seaweed allows you to get those important omega-3s without eating salmon, which is great if follow a plant based or vegan lifestyle. One easy way to eat more seaweed is to place sheets of it on your vegetables and rice, roll it up and eat it. You can also make seaweed chips by baking it with some sea salt for a nice little crunch.
